History

The Arlington Helping Professionals Alliance was founded in January, 2002 by two Arlington-based psychotherapists, Lore Peters and Laury Rappaport, in response to the September 11, 2001 tragedy. Their idea, to provide easy access to services in times of need and to connect local professionals with one another, has blossomed into a network of practitioners treating the mind, body, and spirit.
